	11-13-2008	Homecoming Game - The band will be performing their half-time show BEFORE THE GAME...be sure to arrive early to cheer on our Marching Greyhounds during their final performance of the season. (Be loud....let's make sure they know how much we loved the show this year!) One additional note, prior to the game, Mr. Muse and Mrs. Martinez will be organizing one more senior group photo...this time taken indoors. Uniform Cleaning - We need volunteers (approximately 10) to help with one final uniform cleaning.  Please meet us by the band room after the game if you're able to launder some pants. Senior Night Photos - This year, the band was tasked with taking portrait photos for all seniors (football, cheerleading, band, dance/cg). Stations were setup and manned by two of our best photographers, Doug D. and Martin S. (special thank you to Martin for coming back to help us).  For these portraits, we created a special page where you can view them: http://lymanband.com/senior_night_2008.htm   To cover our costs for Senior Night, we are selling 5x7 and 8x10 copies of the photos produced from the hi-resolution images.  Details are on the page. We also have over 500 other photos from Senior Night posted on our regular photo site (which houses close to 20,000 photos and videos from the last 2 years...wow!). Polo Shirt and Cap Orders - We received our last shipment and will have them available for pickup on Friday. Silent Auction - To make things easy, we are setting up specific turn-in times for the student silent auction donations. 	11-06-2008	Our annual Winter Showcase is fast approaching and aside from great performances and the yummy dessert treats, we have a tradition - our students team up to create some awesome baskets that we use for our silent auction. This year, we have decided to forgo the live auction (trips, jewelry, etc.) and work to build up the silent auction into a bigger fundraising opportunity. Keep in mind that this fundraising benefits the general fund which covers expenses for band, color guard and dance.   Today the students received information about the auction.  They were placed into teams and a specific theme for their basket was assigned. You can pair up to buy something more attractive (e.g., two students combine their contribution for a $20 coffee grinder). We encourage you to work together with your team to make sure everything is coordinated and complimentary. As an alternative, you can contribute $10 and the band boosters will do the shopping for you.  We thank everyone in advance for their help in making this important fundraiser a success. We mentioned earlier that we will not be doing the live auction. Instead, we have another fun way that we'll auction off some of the more valuable donations (yes, the Muse parking spot is up for grabs again).  We will review all of this at our booster meeting this coming Monday at 6:30.
