The 2009 - 2010 WinterGuard Season is fast approaching and there are some forms that you can use to help start lining up sponsors:

Msg from Mr. Porter: I'm asking for your help with turning in colorguard equipment that might be at your homes. Please also look for any costume pieces that might be there as well! We like for the students to practice at home, but some of these items get pricey and we can't afford to loose them, or for Seniors to leave with them unreturned. I am trying to finish inventory and prepare for the summer reassignments. I appreciate your help.

About the Lyman Diamonds:
The Lyman Diamonds, have been under the direction of Mr. Stephen Porter since 2000. Since beginning competition in 2001, we have moved from Novice to Scholastic A class.
In 2009, the Lyman Diamond Winter Guard team earned the Bronze medal in the Scholastic A category at the wgi in Dayton, Ohio. The Diamonds have consistently been also been a WGI regional finalist since 2005.
The Lyman Diamonds Winter Guard troupe is a sister group to the Marching Greyhounds Dance Team & Color Guard who appear in the Disney Christmas Parade, the Daytona 500, Lyman’s Winter and Spring Dance Showcases and other Seminole County venues.
We also perform with the Marching Band at Varsity Football games and Marching Band competitions. The Marching Greyhounds, under the Direction of Mr. Bill Muse and Mr. Stephen Porter, consistently place at the Superior level in the Florida Bandmaster and Seminole County Band Festivals.
We appeared in the 2004 Nokia Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, marched in the 2006 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York City, and in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta on New Year’s Eve, 2007.
