- Announcing the Rum Cake Island fundraiser! There are 2 ordering dates. The first one is Nov. 14th & will be delivered on Nov. 20th. The 2nd is Dec. 12 & will be delivered on Dec. 18th. The participants get $4 for each Med cake and $5 for each large they sell. If someone wants to ship one, they can go on the www.rumcakeisland.com and there is a dropdown box that will say lymandiamonds, then in the comment area they can put the girls name. The price is $26 & $34 on her webite but it includes shipping anywhere in the US. She will also honor any orders she gets on her website until the end of the school year for the girls. I will give the girls an information sheet next week with all of the additional information on it.

Call Time: 3:30pm at Lyman for Hair/Make-up
Departure via Bus: 4:30pm travel to Cor. Spr.
Arrival: 5:30 at Ballroom
Rehearsal :6-9pm Dress Rehearsal
Arrive Back at Lyman: 10pm ish
Saturday December 6th ABC taping of Disney Christmas Morning Parade
(First thing taped is Mary Poppins Section)
Approx. Call Time: 7am at Lyman Hair/Make-up
Departure on Bus: 8am travel to Magic Kingdom
Arrival: 9:00am Backstage Magic Kingdom
Performance: Taping in sections 9am-3pm
Bus departs:4pm ish
Arrive Back at Lyman: 5pm ish

About the Lyman Diamonds:
The Lyman Diamonds, have been under the direction of Mr. Stephen Porter since 2000. Since beginning competition in 2001, we have moved from Novice to Scholastic A class.
In 2002, we placed as an FFCC AAA Silver Medalist and in 2007 as an FFCC Scholastic A silver medalist. We have consistently been a WGI regional finalist since 2005.
The Lyman Diamonds Winter Guard troupe is a sister group to the Marching Greyhounds Dance Team & Color Guard who appear in the Disney Christmas Parade, the Daytona 500, Lyman’s Winter and Spring Dance Showcases and other Seminole County venues.
We also perform with the Marching Band at Varsity Football games and Marching Band competitions. The Marching Greyhounds, under the Direction of Mr. Bill Muse and Mr. Stephen Porter, consistently place at the Superior level in the Florida Bandmaster and Seminole County Band Festivals.
We appeared in the 2004 Nokia Sugar Bowl in New Orleans, marched in the 2006 St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York City, and in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta on New Year’s Eve, 2007.
