The Lyman Marching Greyhounds will give its Premiere performance for the 2013-2014 school year, on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 6:00 on the Practice Field. Immediately following this performance, we will walk to the Auditorium for more Music and a short, informative meeting from the Boosters. Exciting fundraising opportunities will be introduced. We will then adjourn to the Student Union (cafeteria) for a Potluck Appetizer & Dessert Reception to mingle, eat, turn in forms, sign up for various committees, events & chaperones, pick up fundraising packets, etc..
Parents!! In order for our Potluck reception to be successful, we'll need your help!! If you and/or your student plan on attending our Potluck, we need you to bring a dish to share. To keep it simple, we're dividing it up by student's last name, as follows: (TO BE UPDATED)
A-D - Appetizer
E-L - Dessert
M-S - Appetizer
T-Z - Dessert
Dishes can be dropped off anytime Friday afternoon or prior to the Field performance. The Band Boosters will provide paper products, utensils, lemonade, tea and water.
MEDICAL TRAVEL FORMS: VERY IMPORTANT!!
A Seminole County Band Medical and Travel Form MUST be filled out and notarized EVERY YEAR for your student to participate in band activities away from the school. If you haven't turned yours in, there will be notaries on hand during the Potluck reception. You will need to bring the following information with you to be signed in front of the Notary:
- Photo ID (Driver's License)
- Insurance Company Name, Address and Phone Number
- Student's Physician Name and Phone Number
- Student Social Security Number
- Allergies/Medical Information/Medication
BAND FEES
The Treasurer will be on hand to receive any Marching fee payments and answer any questions regarding your student's account.
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO BE INVOLVED!
There will be sign-up sheets for committees, events and for chaperoning at band functions.
Fundraising packets, Company representatives and information will also be available.
